The Garmin nuvi 265WT 4.3-Inch Portable GPS navigator is a great mid-range GPS device that would be perfect for city dwellers and cross-country gallivanters alike. I personally believe that they should make GPS navigator displays as big as possible. Instead of squinting and making double takes at the display, a large and clear display will allow you to get all the info that you need at a glance. The 4.3-inch display on this model shows crisp and clear images. The roads are all very well color coded to show you the right route to take. The menu interface was also pretty easy to use. The touch screen was not instantaneous but was responsive enough for convenient access to the features.
The text to speech on the Garmin nuvi 265WT 4.3-Inch Portable GPS navigator was also pretty handy. The audio is crisp and loud (yet pretty soothing). It was even loud enough to hear over the noisy chatter of other passengers. By just touching the turn icon, the device will 'speak' out the distance of the next turning and the street name.

This unit is not without its flaws. Some of the 'new' maps do not include some roads that have been around for a couple of years. The databank of points of interest could also be improved. I hope Garmin will release some new updates soon.
